Hi

That the universe is huge is a fact . Needless to say, it is far hard for one to realize everything about the world since we are livivng in the time of Globilization by which the entire world has become like one town. Just when browsing the internet , the incessant change of information and technology becomes crystal clear. New innovations and software systems are always produced. This century is the time of development and transitions in every field . Now the globalization has increased the easiness of communication, that is, if one lives in Europe, it would be very easy to know what is happening in any other part of the world; it is actually a great privilege for people.Once when I were browsing the internet and reading the news bulletin, I came across a reminder. It is a gloomy one but I feel grateful towards Allah for it had a positive effect upon me.How negligent one can get when business or life takes him away from those in need! Neither being a hard worker is bad nor being busy is a sin but there is this time when one feels like the busiest soul on Earth that all comes to the mind is,' When I'm done with this , I should start doing that!' It it all about the fact that we get so much absorbed in this life that we forget some important things. Frankly, I felt a bit selfish after what happened. It all started last week when my uncle's housemaid has arrived from Sri Lanka . Noor, a Muslim woman of about fourty has left her homeland for it was no more a country , not after Tsunami! She said her house was all demolished because the waves of the flood has lashed it. Noor has got a twenty-three-year old son who, for the time being, lives in the no hame place! When I heard the story , I gaped because I couldn't imagine our sweet home becoming history, God forbid. What would happen to this blooming youth and who would take care of him during the two-year-absence of his loving mom?Another tragedy is one I read on the internet. It is about ,Shanti, a girl who is only fifteen and has lost her parents and a nine-year-old sister when ( Tsunami) stroke . Shanti is scarred psychologically and every night she would wake and start screaming , She said she can't help remembering her family. The girl has been taken to an orphanage where she receives psychological treatment. These stoeies are just for illustration and they are a blessing because they reminded me of these living in a plight. While we are fighting obesity of our kids due to the over much eating, then why don't we send these additional amounts to the starving kids in Sri Lanka. And instead of throwing any scraps away, give them to someone hungry nearby because there are plenty . Above all, the one who has got the life necessities should thank Allah for them and invoke the Almighty to help these people livivng in stark poverty. Similarly, the rich should all the same show gratitude towards Allah, the Exalted, and consider Charity .This is an advantage of globalization because without the news broadcasting and the internet , it would be quite difficult to witness these realities . Of course , Noor always smiles when talking about her country and Shanti is trying her best to get well because they realize that there is a silver lining in every cloud.
